As title says, on the First of June a Bi-Monthly competition will be held that will last till the 1st July, the Winner being announced on the 2nd July.

This is about a Hypothetical war.

Lets start shall we?

It must be as in-depth as possible.

We are currently at war with the Mountain Clans of Hydroban, they have a manpower pool of around 1000, they have summoned all of it, they split it into 3 groups and strike with total surprise;

Group A has 800 men

Group B has 100 men

Group C has 100 men

Group A is 75 miles North of the Capital Zygeth, Group B and C are pillaging the Northern countryside.

Kingdom of Zygethia has a manpower pool of 1800 men (2000 if you include the 200 man garrison/Militia at the capital), due to the surprise attack only 400 have been called up so far, it would take 4 RL days to call up the remainder 1400 men, most of which will be concentrated in our Southern Counties 50 miles away.

Zygethian soldiers are better armed, trained and disciplined, the Hydroban rely almost solely on quick strikes and hit and run tactics.

The Northern Terrain of the realm (where the Hydrobans struck) is hilly towards the border, but progressively getting flatter till it reaches the Capital, the Terrain of the Hydroban tribal area is very hilly and mountainous.

What will you do?

Summary -

You have a manpool of 2000 (if you include the 200 men/militia in the capital)
The Hydroban tribes have a manpool of 1000, they have launched a surprise blitz campaign on the Northern Border (the Capital is 80 miles away from the Northern border)
The terrain of the northern frontier is hilly, getting progressively flatter till it reaches the capital, the Hyrdroban tribal area is very hilly and mountainous.
They won't accept a surrender/ceasefire deal, they want to conquer the northern provinces + the capital.
DO NOT lose the capital.

Also you may have more troops, fighting Hydroban's Mountainous regions will be very difficult.

As long as you don't blatantly give away what you do and only discuss about the Hypothetical war and competition.

Yes, they don't have a central capital per say they are Mountain clans each village is a clan.
